USB WiFi to the rescue! This is inexpensive enough to buy and keep for just such a situation. This became necessary when the PC was suddenly moved to a new room, along with the existing NETGEAR Wall-Plugged Ethernet Bridge XE102 - Bridge, which worked fine in the adjacent room, but not this new one. I am currently using this WiFi adapter on a Windows desktop. Default device driver support already in OpenBSD, Linux, and Windows make this WiFi adapter functionally desirable and flexible! You many not always be running a Windows PC in the future, this was a requirement for me!
